LAGOS BUSINESS SCHOOL RANKED 54TH GLOBALLY



The Lagos Business School (LBS) has been ranked 54th globally for the sixth consecutive timey by the Financial Times of London in its Executive Education 2012 rankings released on Tuesday.
The Financial Times of London releases a list of top rated management programmes from schools globally, using staff and student diversity, growth in business and international reach and quality of learning as basis for ranking. This year, only four African business schools made the list and LBS is making it for the sixth time.

Top on the list was the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland, followed by Harvard Business School and Thunderbird School of Global Management, both from the USA.
In a statement on the school’s website, the Dean of LBS, Dr. Enase Okonedo, said the school was pleased with the ranking.
“We want to be the number one business school in emerging markets, and the FT ranking compels us to compete with other world-class schools,” she said.
